Grade Level Expectations
Future Readiness Project
The Future Readiness Project is designed to support students in developing and demonstrating essential skills over the course of their high school experience. Each year, students will engage in activities, reflections, and experiences that align with the six Core Competencies, while also building a personalized Future Readiness Portfolio.
At each grade level, students are expected to upload a minimum of six (6) artifacts to their Future Readiness Portfolio—one artifact for each competency—demonstrating growth, learning, and skill development. In addition, students will upload relevant artifacts to their College and Career Readiness Portfolio that support their post-secondary planning and goals.
Grade-level expectations are intentionally scaffolded, allowing students to build skills, confidence, and reflection over time. This progression culminates in a senior-year presentation, where students will present their Future Readiness Portfolio, reflect on their growth across the six Core Competencies, and articulate their post-secondary pathway and plan.
