Future Readiness Project
The Future Readiness Project is a multi-year portfolio that allows students to demonstrate their growth, skills, and postsecondary plans. Key components include:
Portfolio Development
Students collect and upload evidence and artifacts of their choice throughout high school.
Artifacts align with the six (6) Core Competencies, showing growth and proficiency over time.
Career Pathway Alignment
Specific portfolio items are connected to each student’s individualized career pathway plan.
Workplace Exploration Experience
Students participate in a real-world workplace experience.
This helps bridge classroom learning with real workplace expectations and skills.
Senior Portfolio Presentation
In their senior year, students present their completed portfolio, including:
Showcasing, with evidence their growth in the Core Competencies
Summary of their Workplace Exploration Experience, highlighting skills learned, responsibilities, and connections to future goals
Sharing their identified postsecondary pathway and plan of action after high school
