Who is Mrs. Weymouth?
Second Graders Rock! I am thrilled to teach 2nd Graders at Sorensen! I have been teaching for over 20 years! Fifteen of those years at Sorensen. I can hardly believe it! I started teaching in Miami, Florida where I went to graduate school for Emotional Handicaps and Learning Disabilities (Go Hurricanes Football), then moved to Boise, Idaho where I taught Special Education and Gifted and Talented for 4 years. Then I moved on to first grade in Middleton School District, then we moved to Coeur d' Alene and I came to Sorensen the first year we started as a magnet school for arts and humanities! I recently finished my Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Idaho.
If you spot Mrs. Weymouth out of Sorensen you will see me with my three children (ages 11, 10, and 7) and husband in Lake Coeur d'Alene, on the beach, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing or just out having Idaho fun!
I am excited to get to know my second grade families throughout the year!
