Hi! My name is Abby Fremouw and I am thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade at Sorensen Magnet School.
A little bit about me: I grew up in Issaquah, WA. I graduated from Washington State University, (GO COUGS), in 2002 and continued on to earn my Master’s Degree at City University, in Bellevue, WA, with a degree in Technology in the Classroom.
This is my 21st year teaching elementary school students. I previously taught in Fall City, WA, and at Ramsey Magnet School, for 2 years. I have had experience with grades Pre-K-3rd grade throughout my teaching career.
Our family relocated, in November of 2015, to Coeur d’Alene. I am married to my best friend, Dave, and we have three amazing kids; Hudson (12 yrs), Lola (6 yrs), and Georgia (4 yrs). A little fun fact, all of my kids and I share October, as our birthday month!
Our family lives in downtown CDA and we love our small community. There is nothing like living in a community where we can walk downtown and enjoy the beauty around us. My favorite thing about this small community is Halloween. How many teachers get to stand on their front porch for hours and be visited by former, current, and upcoming students?! It is something I love every year.
Our family loves to be outside playing, biking, hiking, and exploring this beautiful area. We also enjoy watching football, skiing, and going on family vacations.
I am so excited about getting this year started and learn more about YOU!
