Hello Sorenson Families!
My name is Brandi Smalley and I am the Special Education Teacher here at Sorenson Magnet School! I am loving the atmosphere and the family culture, and am so happy to be here. I have 2 adult children, 2 attending CHS, and my youngest attending Sorenson Elementary. I love coffee, reading, and spending time with my family.
This is my second year teaching special education. I attended North Idaho College, and then the University of Idaho, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a teaching certificate in Elementary and Special Education. My teaching philosophy centers on integrating the arts and humanities to cultivate a love for learning, valuing the role of families in the educational journey, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages every student to explore their unique potential.
