The Board of Trustees has approved the policies listed below to be advanced for public/staff comment after a first reading.
Policy 2700-P.1 - High School Graduation Requirements
The Coeur d’Alene School District adopted its current technology requirement in April 2016. The 1-credit graduation requirement is a local requirement only, as the State of Idaho currently has no such requirement for graduation. It was determined by a committee of District administrators that the technology competencies are met within core courses and other practices within the District's teaching frameworks.
Policy 3510 - Medication at School
Revisions were made to this policy based on new legislation regarding student health in the Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA) 08.02.03.

Flag Day is a holiday celebrated on June 14 in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

Hard work by district leadership at many levels helped to balance what would have been a $6 million 2024-25 fiscal year budget shortfall in the Coeur d'Alene School District. Great article by the Coeur d'Alene Press. The Coeur d'Alene School Board is expected to adopt its 2024-25 operating budget during a June 24 budget workshop from 4-5:30 p.m. at Midtown.
