Dear Winton Families,

We are gearing up for another round of parent-teacher conferences and are looking forward to connecting with you about your child’s growth and progress.

Conference Preparation & Assessment Week
Friday, March 20th will be a teacher work day to allow teachers time to prepare for conferences. During the week of March 16th–19th, teachers will be conducting important assessments to gauge where students are performing academically. Please make every effort to ensure your student is at school throughout that week, as this information helps guide meaningful conference conversations.

Conference Dates
Conferences will be held:

  • Thursday, March 26th – Evening appointments

  • Friday, March 27th – Conferences throughout the day (No school for students)

Additionally, some teachers may offer conference times before or after school during the week of March 23rd.

If you are planning an extended spring break vacation and anticipate your student missing school before or after the break, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher. We can determine if a self-directed learner form would be appropriate.

Looking Ahead to April – ISAT Testing
April brings our official state assessment window for students in grades 3–5. The Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) is an important opportunity for our Winton Wolves to demonstrate everything they have learned throughout the year. We are excited to see our students shine! Please try to avoid scheduling vacations during this testing window so students can fully participate.

Unleash the Wolfpack Fundraiser
Last week, we held our annual Unleash the Wolfpack fundraiser—our PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year. We encourage as much participation as possible. Every email shared and every dollar donated directly impacts our Winton Wolves in the most positive way. Thank you for supporting our school community!

As always, thank you for your partnership and for being an important part of what makes Winton such a special place for students to learn and grow

With Regards,

Kathleen Corbeill & Amy Arlint, Winton's Administrative Team
