Dear Winton Families,

Our school year is in full swing! Students and teachers are busy each day diving into new learning and exploring fresh ideas.

As the weather continues to change, please help your student dress appropriately for all conditions. Speaking of clothing—our Lost and Found is overflowing! Please remind your child to check for any missing items. Parents are also welcome to look before school; just be sure to check in at the office first.

We’re excited to invite you to our Veterans Day Concert on Thursday, November 13th. Our 3rd and 5th graders will be performing songs to honor and remember the brave individuals who have served our country.

Please also note that Monday, November 11th (Veterans Day) is a teacher workday—students will not have school as staff prepare for upcoming parent-teacher conferences.

On the attendance front, Winton’s attendance rate last week was 95.2%—that’s fantastic! Our goal for October is 96%, and with your continued support, we know we can reach it. Every day counts, and we appreciate all you do to help your child be here, on time, and ready to learn. When analyzing district data Winton had the top attendance rates three our of the five days throughout the district! GO WOLVES!

Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support!
