About The Teacher

This is Boston Tacke's second year of teaching. In the summers he enjoys being outdoors and he tries to travel as much as he can to expand his understanding of the world around him. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, learning about philosophy, and playing basketball. He also competes in mixed martial arts and enjoys the life lessons it teaches him.

About The Class

The Social Studies classroom is about understanding the world around you and developing the necessary social skills to function in modern society. Tacke seeks to create a classroom where students have both structure and choice to ensure students can teach and learn from each other. He hopes to build lasting relationships with his students because he views teaching as an opportunity to build connections.
