About Mr. Hook
Tony Hook was born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho, where he grew up enjoying what the outdoors had to offer. He has always had a passion for sports and competing, which led him to attend and wrestle for Oregon State University. Tony spent his first 6 years in education at Coeur d’ Alene high school and is now in his 4th year at Venture High school. He spends a large amount of time coaching football at CHS, middle school wrestling at Canfield, and high school wrestling at CHS. When he is not coaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and his sons, Winston and Wallace. With Melissa also in the education field, they spend summer months camping, fishing, and hanging out at the lake.

About His Classes
Tony Hook teaches Health and a variety of physical education classes, including: Weight Lifting, Walk Fit, and Team Sports. He truly understands the importance of being physically active and the benefits associated with lifelong activity. His main goal is to build relationships with students that creates an environment where students feel safe and comfortable getting out of their “comfort zone.”
