Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — The Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to recognize Damien Seifert as the May Senior of the Month for his outstanding character, academic dedication, and leadership at Venture High School.
Throughout his time at Venture, Damien has consistently demonstrated responsibility, perseverance, and a positive attitude. Teachers and staff describe him as a solid citizen and an exceptional student who completes his work promptly, actively participates in class discussions, asks thoughtful questions, and contributes positively to the school environment each day. Damien has also been a valuable member of the school’s leadership class, taking full advantage of the opportunities available to him and setting a strong example for his peers.
“Damien has taken his opportunity at Venture seriously and made the very most of it,” staff members shared. “He brings a great attitude each day and has become an important part of our school community.”
Following graduation, Damien plans to begin college at North Idaho College. He shared that starting at NIC is an ideal first step because it is close to home and offers a strong foundation for his future goals.
Damien also expressed gratitude for the support he received during his time at Venture.
“A lot of people here at Venture helped me more than I would have ever expected,” Damien said. “My best friend, Oscar Martinez, who also won Senior of the Month, and my friends Audrey and Maddy made me feel welcome here at Venture. I also think Mr. Tacke helped me a lot with confidence, and Mr. Levy pushed me to do my best work. I appreciate this opportunity and thank you.”
The Sunrise Rotary Club congratulates Damien Seifert on this well-deserved recognition and wishes him continued success in his future academic and personal endeavors.
