Anthony is known by his teachers as a student who consistently shows up with a smile and a kind word. He approaches his work with precision, accepts feedback with humility, and demonstrates true craftsmanship in everything he does. Whether working independently or collaborating with others, Anthony stands out as a thoughtful, reliable, and generous student. His teachers note that he frequently shares technology tools he has created himself, further highlighting his willingness to help others succeed. As one teacher shared, “Anthony is a deep thinker and a pleasure to work with. We are very proud of him.”
Looking ahead, Anthony has a clear and ambitious plan for his future. Immediately after high school, he plans to secure an IT-based job while beginning coursework at North Idaho College (NIC). He will work part-time as he starts the cybersecurity program and begins studying for the CompTIA Cybersecurity+ certification. Over the next two years, Anthony aims to earn his Cybersecurity+ certification, begin studying for the Network+ certification, and graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Cybersecurity from NIC.
Long-term, Anthony plans to continue growing his experience in the cybersecurity field, pursue additional certifications—including AI-based certifications recommended through professional interviews—and prepare to move out once his education and financial goals are met.
Anthony’s education and training plans include on-site IT job training, earning multiple industry certifications such as A+, Cybersecurity+, and Network+, and gaining real-world experience through IT-based work, including opportunities through Field Nation and eventually a cybersecurity analyst role.
Financially and personally, Anthony plans to live with his parents while completing college and certifications, allowing him to save money, work part-time, and remain focused on his long-term goals.
