The Coeur d'Alene Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to recognize Aydin Lusby as the October Senior of the Month. Known for his curiosity, humor, and strong work ethic, Aydin has earned the admiration of his teachers and peers alike.
Aydin has his sights set on a hands-on career path after graduation. He plans to attend the NIC Workforce Training Center to study electrical work, a field that combines problem-solving, technical skill, and precision — qualities that suit him well. “I have very big plans for my future,” Aydin shared. He explained that he hopes to take a year off from school to work and save money before beginning the program, adding that he’s “excited to get out of school and go into the real world and be an adult.”
That level of planning and self-motivation doesn’t come as a surprise to his teachers. One teacher described Aydin as a student who consistently goes beyond expectations in the classroom. “Aydin tries hard in class, is polite, and asks great questions,” they said. “He comes to class ready to think and add to the conversation, which helps to elevate not only his own understanding but that of the entire class.”
Known for his cheerful nature and sense of humor, Aydin brings positive energy to every discussion. “He is respectful, quite funny, and a joy to have in class,” his teacher added with a smile.
The Sunrise Rotary Club commends Aydin for his dedication, maturity, and enthusiasm for the future. With his strong sense of purpose and optimistic outlook, Aydin Lusby stands as a shining example of the promise and potential that today’s youth hold.
