May 28, 2025 — Sunrise Rotary has named Zach Bell as Venture Academy’s Student of the Month for May, recognizing his leadership, character, and dedication during his time at the school.
Zach, a longtime student at Venture Academy, has grown into a respected and admired leader among his peers. Known for his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and inclusive nature, Zach has made a lasting impression both in the classroom and on the basketball court.
"Zach is respectful, hardworking, and always upbeat," said one staff member. "He leads by example and makes sure to include everyone — even the old guys like Tacke — when playing ball." Though modestly described as “an okay ball player,” Zach’s true strength lies in his ability to foster a sense of community and camaraderie.
Faculty and staff praised Zach’s perseverance and personal growth over the years. “He’s hung in there like a champ,” said one teacher. “He’s getting it done and graduating. It’s been a pleasure to have him in class.”
Administrative Assistant at Venture Academy added, “Zach always has your back. I’ve seen him stand up for others and step in to defuse tense situations with maturity beyond his years.”
Following graduation, Zach is set to move to Seattle in the coming weeks, where he will be working for Brightside Windows — a new chapter in what many believe will be a bright future.
As he prepares to leave Venture, Zach Bell carries with him not only a diploma but the respect and admiration of his school community — a true reflection of the spirit behind the Student of the Month honor.
