Dance Step Performance Team Director
My name is Crystal Bain and I am so excited to be back for another great year of dance. I have been dancing since I was five. My dance career started at the Coeur d’Alene school of Ballet. Then I moved on to Expressions school of dance trying out different forms of dance such as Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. I furthered my studies at the University of Idaho, gaining my Bachelors in Dance. Now I am working on my Master of Arts in Dance Education degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I have been teaching and choreographing for more than twenty years now in the area.
I love dance because it gives you a voice to use that you may not have been able to express any other way. Besides dance being a beautiful art form, it is also physically and mentally stimulating. It has been proven that dance helps with brain development. I look forward to sharing my passion for dance with the students of Sorensen and our community during our performances.
