Why do we need a levy?
State funding does not cover the full cost of the educational opportunities and services our students and families have come to rely on. Coeur d’Alene Public Schools has relied on voter-approved levies since 1986 to help fund teachers and staff, student programs, school safety, and day-to-day operations.

What will it pay for?
Levy funding supports approximately 25% of the district’s operating budget and helps maintain:
Classroom teachers and support staff
School safety and security, including School Resource Officers (SROs)
Registered school nurses and student health services
Athletics and extracurricular activities
Music, art, theater, and student programs
Classroom resources and technology
Transportation, utilities, maintenance, and school operations
