We know that families sometimes have opportunities or commitments that require children to be away from school for several days. To help our students stay connected to their learning during these times, we are offering a Self-Directed Learner (SDL) option for all K-12 students in the Coeur d’Alene School District.
Self-directed learning allows students to continue meaningful, preapproved learning and remain in good standing during a planned absence. This option is intended for absences arranged in advance, such as family travel, competitions, or other structured learning experiences. Learn more
