Colin Pratt
I have been working in special education since 2023 but began my career in 2015 as an AP U.S. history teacher. I am passionate about supporting students in achieving their goals and preparing them for life beyond high school.
I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) from the University of California, Irvine, in 2015. After teaching APUSH in California for nearly 10 years, I moved to Idaho with my family in 2023 when I began teaching special education at Kootenai School District #274. I recently earned my Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from the University of Idaho and continually strive to improve my practice.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy being with my family and spending time in nature. My wife, Leah, and I share two daughters, Minerva and Florence, who are 4 and 1, respectively. I like to ride motorcycles, read nonfiction books—mostly about history—and dance with wolves.
