Carolyn Emerick

Carolyn Emerick, the Library Assistant at Coeur d’Alene High School, exemplifies dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to the success of both students and staff. We are so proud to recognize Carolyn as  the High School Classified Employee of the month!

Carolyn’s contributions go far beyond the library. From organizing thousands of books and supporting English teachers, to proctoring nearly 1,750 ISAT exams, troubleshooting Chromebook issues, and assisting countless students throughout the day, Carolyn’s work ethic and positivity never waver. Her job is both physically and mentally demanding, and yet she remains a calm, encouraging presence.

As one colleague said, “We never want to think of trying to get along without her.”

Many students see Carolyn’s face first thing each morning. She sets a positive tone for the entire school day. Whether it’s helping at the last second or juggling multiple tasks with grace, Carolyn handles every challenge with a warm smile and an incredible attitude.
