CHS TSA

Last week, the Coeur d'Alene High School chapter of the Technology Student Association (TSA) made an impressive showing at the Idaho TSA State Leadership Conference held in Meridian. The Technology Student Association is a career and technology student organization that works hand in hand with the engineering program to enhance leadership, applied learning, and real-world application.

At the conference, students participated in a variety of competitive events focused on engineering and architecture, all designed to foster leadership, critical thinking, and 21st-century skills. The events allowed students to showcase their abilities in fields such as Dragster Design, Structural Design and Engineering, Manufacturing Prototype, CAD Architecture, Architectural Design, and Technology Problem Solving.

The Coeur d'Alene TSA team demonstrated their dedication, hard work, and talent, earning several awards across multiple categories:

    1st Place – Quinn Warner
    2nd Place – Oliver Forsberg

  • Structural Design and Engineering 
    1st Place – Abigail Kendall & Haileigh Alban

  • Manufacturing Prototype
    1st Place – Oliver Forsberg

    2nd Place – Jack Daigle

  • Technology Problem Solving
    1st Place – Quinn Warner & Jack Daigle

In addition to their success in the competitions, the students had the opportunity to visit the state Capitol building in Boise. This experience provided them with insight into the state's history and government, broadening their understanding of leadership and civic engagement.

The TSA chapter at Coeur d'Alene High School continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in technology and engineering education. The awards earned at the conference are a testament to the students' hard work, determination, and the guidance of their adviser.
