Welcome to 8th grade Earth Science! This is my 19th year at Canfield and I still love it.
Just a little about myself: I have been a wrestling coach in the district for 17 years and coach football for 6 years (both at the high school level). My family and I love to travel a lot, especially to as many national parks as we can, hitting our 67th national park. Science is an amazing subject and I hope your student walks away feeling the same. We will focus on the metric system, scientific method, basic chemistry, rocks & minerals, Geologic History, Layers of the Earth, Plate Tectonnics, Astronomy, and much more.
