Welcome to first Grade!

The team this year is Courtney Davis and Ali Bershaw.

In first grade we focus on snap words, phonetic reading and spelling.  In math we focus on addition and subtraction, story problems, counting and writing numbers to 120.

Our motto is that mistakes help us learn.  We believe in the power of the word “YET” as we learn new concepts.  We may not yet but someday we will!

In first grade we are building our working, reading and writing stamina.

We work on being respectful, supportive, kind and safe peers.
