Welcome to Lake City High School! This is my 19th year in education and I’ve spent them all in the Coeur d’Alene School District. I graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 2001 and got my Bachelors in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History from the University of Idaho  in 2004. Since I’m a tried and true history nerd, I also got my Masters degree in American History from American Military University in 2013, and I went on to get my Ed Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from U of I in 2020. I taught at CHS for ten years, came to Lake City for six, then spent two years as an instructional coach for the district in Secondary Social Studies before coming back home to LC this year. It’s good to be a Timberwolf!

This year I’m teaching US History and College Prep, an elective I created about fifteen years ago to help upperclassmen get ready for life after high school. I teach seniors in the fall and juniors in the spring, and it’s one of my favorite classes to teach because it feels so good to be able to help kids make this typically stressful time of their lives a little easier. On a personal note, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years and we have a 14-year-old son. We love to travel, play lacrosse and board games, and hang out outside with our two dogs.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want to chat - I’m looking forward to another great year at Lake City! Go Wolves!
