All Sorensen students are invited to design the cover for this year’s yearbook featuring our school
mascot—the black panther!

Let your creativity come to life! Add color and imaginative details to your panther and its
surroundings. Perhaps your panther wears a funny hat, has a unique expression, or appears in an exciting scene.

The sky’s the limit—use your powerful, peculiar imagination!

Submission Guidelines

Your design must:

Feature our school mascot, the black panther

Include the Sorensen logo, school name, and year: 2025–26

Be created on a vertical 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper

Be done in color using any art medium (crayons, pencil, paint, pastels, markers, etc.)

Have a fully colored background — designs with large white spaces will not be considered

Extend to the edges of the paper, but keep important elements (school name, logo, year, faces) at least 0.75” away from the edges

On the back of your artwork, please write:

First and last name

Grade

Teacher

Rules:

Only one entry per student

All entries must be turned in to the office by Friday, March 6th

Entries will be judged by Sorensen staff

The winner will be announced at the Friday Gathering on April 10th
