Karen’s leadership, compassion, and tireless dedication make her a cornerstone of the Lakes community. She goes above and beyond to support students with special needs—evaluating individual goals, creating tailored learning plans, and leading the Extended School Year program each summer.
Karen also plays a key role in helping fifth graders transition smoothly into middle school and provides mentorship to her colleagues on the special education team, fostering collaboration and growth across the department.
