We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Michele Demotte-Reitman, or Mrs. R, as the kids call her, is the May Elementary Educator of the Month!
Michele is a dedicated, compassionate teacher. She consistently goes above and beyond in the service of student learning, spending countless hours outside of the school day to ensure her students thrive.
Supporting two different grade levels in her grade 1/2 multiage class this year, Michele works tirelessly to meet the unique needs of every learner in her care. She collaborates daily with colleagues across both grade levels to strengthen instruction and bolster student achievement.
Michele also fosters strong home-school partnerships, inviting families to play an active role in their child's academic journey. Her commitment to her students, her peers, and the greater school community is nothing short of inspiring. Learning is at the core of who she is and what she does.
