We are so proud to share that Josie Miller, an amazing 4th grade teacher at Northwest Expedition Academy (NExA), is our second Elementary Educator of the Month!
Josie is a joyful and caring educator who consistently goes the extra mile for her students. Her teaching style reflects patience, creativity and a deep commitment to student growth. She gives her all, coming in early and collaborating generously with team teachers.
She has been with the Coeur d’Alene School District for four years and worked at Lakes Middle School and NExA. Josie has been instrumental in her team's work with data and assessment and has dedicated many hours to co-planning a new project based learning unit that is highly engaging and rigorous. Josie also leads the Math is Cool program and Cross Country.
