COEUR D’ALENE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The 8th-grade student mentors at Canfield Middle School recently hosted a NEON dance with the intention of donating 20% of the profits to Canopy Village. Canopy Village (Formerly Children's Village) helps children and families who experience abuse, neglect, or are in crisis. With the help of teachers, parents, raffle donations, and ticket purchases, $500 was donated to this important cause. Additionally, Canfield teachers played a riveting game of Left-Right-Center at a recent event and were able to match that amount. In all, $1000 was donated to this important community organization.  Thank you middle school mentors and staff for your generosity. Great job cougars! #one271community
