Canfield Middle School Health educator Keri Carter has been named the "Middle School Athletic Director of the Year" by the Idaho High School Activities Association representing her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence in middle school athletics. In addition to this honor, Mrs. Carter has been selected as a finalist for the position of Middle School Athletic Director Representative on the IAAA board. We are so proud of Mrs. Carter's achievements!
Mrs. Carter, a Coeur d'Alene High School graduate and district educator since 1999, has been in the position at Canfield for four years and sees one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is seeing how student-athletes grow over their middle school years before heading to high school.
She was nominated by other athletic directors for the award and said she is honored to work with a pool of great athletic directors throughout North Idaho.
