We are pleased to announce our Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber Education Committee and Northwest Specialty Hospital Elementary Teacher of the Month for January is Anna Taylor, 1st Grade Teacher at Sorensen Magnet School of Arts and Humanities.

"She is kind, energetic, and loves her little 1st graders. Mrs. Taylor does a wonderful job teaching students the importance of reading, writing and math. She makes it fun and always encourages a little bit of artistic flair. Anna understands our school mission of providing an academically excellent education and utilizes every day to ensure that students are cared for, understand what it means to be safe, responsible, polite and respectful and that her students are challenged in their academic pursuit of becoming critical young thinkers who have an appreciation for arts and humanities. Anna serves on several leadership teams at Sorensen. She is an essential part of what we refer to as "Sorensen Magic" in helping our young learners flourish in this busy little arts and humanities magnet school.
