Education Committee, Elementary School Teacher of the Month for November is Jim Windisch, advanced learning teacher at Bryan Elementary School.

"Bryan Elementary would like to recognize Jim Windisch as our Teacher of the Month. Jim adds to what makes Bryan Elementary a great place to be in so many ways. These go far beyond his own
classroom walls. Jim spearheaded, attains funding for, and carries out the day to day logistics for our Birthday Book program which allows every child to choose a book of their own as a gift from us to them on their special day.
Jim is also our go to for all things technology. When it's time for an assembly and we are scrambling to be prepared, Jim is always right there assuring everything runs smoothly. Much like how he organizes and hosts the Invention Convention for the district each year.
If you go looking for Jim he is likely writing a grant, elbow deep in collaborating with his PLT teams, putting together something above and beyond for his students or pursuing his own professional development which he will surely share all of the best of the learning with his teammates.
We are lucky to have him on the Bryan team and thrilled to recognize all he does for the Bryan community."
