4:45- Meet at the grass area across from train for roll call with Advisory Class
5:15- Board busses for return to Woodland
5:45- Parents pick up students at Woodland

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT

Coeur d'Alene Public Schools is the heart of our community. We have a student population nearing 11,000, and our district operates 11 elementary schools, three middle schools, three high schools, a developmental preschool and KTEC, a joint professional technical campus with adjoining school districts. We employ some of the most talented teachers in the state, with skilled administrators and staff members who are committed to the success of all students.Records you will need: No child may be enrolled until the school receives the following information:
- Current proof of residency in the Coeur d’Alene School District
- Current immunization records
- State-certified birth certificate
2 WAYS TO ENROLL NEW STUDENTS FOR THE 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
1. NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT - ONLINE PROCESS
Click the button below to start the New Student enrollment process for the 2021-22 school year.
Only students who are NEW to the Coeur d'Alene School District need to enroll at their home school.

If you have questions about which school you will attend, contact the District Office at 208-664-8241.
Magnet Schools (Ramsey and Sorensen) have their own application process. Please visit each school's website for more information.
2. NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT - IN-PERSON PROCESS
Student enrollment will also take place in person at each school.
Here are the dates and times for registering new students for the 2021-22 school year:
All Elementary Schools: Enrollment is on Thursday, August 20, from 12 PM until 6 PM. (NExA FAMILIES: Due to final construction work at our new Northwest Expedition Academy on West Prairie Avenue, the registration for NExA students will take place at the former school site, 9650 N. Government Way. Registration will be outside under the eave of the north building.)
All Middle Schools: Enrollment is on Tuesday, August 24, from 12 PM until 6 PM.
(Families also may register new students after these dates)
High Schools: Call the school for which you are zoned to schedule a new student enrollment appointment with a school counselor. Staff will be available to take calls on August 3, August 10 and August 17, and every weekday beginning Aug. 24.

Spring SPORTS: Physicals are required for all sports. 8th grade basketball is in full action and track will begin in April.
