Summer Learning Aids
Just because school is out for the summer does not mean that students should stop their learning. Studies show that students perform lower on standardized tests when they are not engaged in learning over the summer months. The Coeur d'Alene School District would like to suggest the following opportunities for review and practice, online and in our community.
Additionally, teachers and staff in the Coeur d'Alene School District are often asked to recommend online resources and activities for families to access over the summer. We suggest Common Sense Media, which provides recommendations and ratings for apps, games, movies, books, and online resources. There is also information about internet safety and digital citizenship, as well as tips for parents/guardians navigating the world of social media. However, please note that Coeur d'Alene Public Schools does not endorse all items, resources, and reviews by Common Sense Media.
