If your child is returning to a CDA District school this year, let us know! Here's how:

Please note, if your child is not returning this fall, you don’t need to complete the "Returning Student Verification" form.

Returning Student Verification Process

To let us know your child is returning to one of our schools year, follow the steps below:

Log in to the new Skyward

This summer we launched an upgrade to our Skyward platform. To access the new Skyward, log in to your account at this link.

If you get an “Account Locked” message when you try to log in, do these things:

  1. Delete all links to the old Skyward you have saved on your devices and use this link to the New Skyward (https://qmlativ.cdaschools.org/skySTS). 

  2. Delete the old Skyward app you have downloaded on your devices and download the new one in the App Store or Google Play.

If you’ve tried the things listed above and you still can’t log in or reset your password, email our tech team at techhelp@cdaschools.org and let them know what’s going on. They are ready to help you and this is the fastest and most efficient way to fix the problem!

How do I register my returning student?

If your child attended a CDA District school last year and is returning this year, you’ll need to complete the “Returning Student Verification” form. 

Here’s what to do.

  1. Log into your Skyward account, choose “Family Access.”

  2. Once in Family Access, you’ll see several icons. Click the “Returning Student Verification” icon.

  3. Follow the instructions to complete and submit the form.

  4. Be sure to go through each page and answer the questions. Click "Complete & Next" to go to the next page, or “Save & Exit” to save your information and come back to it later. When you’re finished, click “Complete and Review” to submit the form. 

  5. What if I don’t see a “Returning Student Verification” icon? 

  • Skyward assigns “Returning Student Verification” to the student’s primary guardian which is designated in your student's record based on their primary physical address.  

  • If you are not the child’s primary guardian, you won’t see the “Returning Student Verification” icon.

  • To change this designation, you’ll need to address it within your family. It’s not something the district or a school can change.
