Applicants
In the state of Idaho, a teaching certificate or formal teaching background is not required to be a substitute teacher. This is one of our most frequently asked questions.
However, a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
We are looking for individuals who are:

Schedule & Flexibility
One of the biggest benefits of substitute teaching is the flexibility. Substitutes have the freedom to choose when and where they work. To remain active in our system, we ask that substitutes work a minimum of 4 days per month to ensure we have adequate coverage across our schools.
Compensation
Half Day (4 hours or less): $60.00
Full Day (4 hours or more): $120.00
Fridays: Early release (approx. 5.5 hours) – qualifies for full day pay
Monthly Bonus: $150 for working 15 days or more in a pay period.
