Hi, my name is Ms. Ramsey. This is my 12th year teaching Language Arts and I am so excited for another year with our sixth graders. I grew up in Coeur d’Alene, graduated from Lake City High School, and even attended Woodland. After graduating, I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho and hold an English Endorsement (grades 5-9) from the State of Idaho.

I love teaching and getting to work with my sixth graders every day. I’m especially passionate about empowering my students to think of themselves as authors, using their voices to both learn about the world, and to give back to it through their writing.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy camping, boating, running with my dog, and spending time with my family.
