My name is Amber Lingelbach and I am so excited to be teaching first grade here at Skyway for my sixth year!  I grew up here in Coeur d'Alene and I absolutely love living in this beautiful town!  I love spending time outdoors with my husband and our two children who are 13 and 20.  We love hiking, camping, and going to the beach and restaurants downtown.  Teaching is my second career, I decided to go back to school after many years of working in the business field.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Education.  I love early childhood and view it as a very special time in a child's life.  

My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to want to learn and become successful in their education.  I want each student to feel comfortable in my classroom and that they are part of the classroom community. My approach to teaching is to use the whole child approach and consider not only the academic needs of the child, but also their creative, social-emotional and developmental needs.
