Coeur d’Alene Public Schools provides full-time enrolled students the opportunity to be designated as Self-Directed Learners (SDL) in accordance with District Policy 2470 and Idaho Code §33-512D. This status is intended for prearranged absences only and allows students to remain in good standing without being marked absent for the identified dates as long as the students maintain academic expectations.
