Greetings!
What an interesting and exciting time to be an educator! I am absolutely thrilled to be working with a fantastic group of 5th-grade students at Ramsey Magnet School of Science this year. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. This is my fifth year teaching at Ramsey, and my eighth year teaching 5th graders. I sincerely look forward to being your child's teacher this year!
About me:
I was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I couldn't have asked for a more fantastic place to grow up. With all of the beauty and recreation that CDA has to offer, I like to take advantage of it often. You can find me hiking the trails, riding my bike, casting a line, and swimming (weather permitting). When I'm not being active I enjoy reading, playing the guitar, and visiting friends or family. Another passion I have is travel! I spent 6 months studying abroad in Quito, Ecuador. I truly believe that traveling opens up a world of possibilities and broadens one's worldview. When I'm not engaged in all of those fun activities, you can find me at work because teaching is my number one passion!
