The Lake City High School English Department is committed to building student literacy and preparing them for success in life after high school. Through a diverse range of courses, including foundational English classes, AP courses, Dual Credit opportunities, and creative electives, we hope to build a love for literature, collaboration, and effective communication. Our instruction is based on Idaho State Standards to ensure all students master essential ELA skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. We believe all students are capable of growth and work to support their individual learning journeys.
