I would like to share just a few important things that make Lake City High School an incredible place to attend school and to work. The mission of Lake City High School:

  • We develop caring, responsible citizens by providing an innovative, rigorous, and enriching education.

  • We envision a school community that accepts, values, and respects every member.

  • We strive to create passionate, life-long learners.

  • We empower our students to persevere in fulfilling their promise.

Passion, Perseverance and Promise!

We are Lake City High School and we are unique!  Walk through the doors of our school and immediately you will feel the warm, friendly atmosphere.  With more than 73 highly qualified teachers, 4 counselors, a school resource officer, 4 administrators, 10 certified support staff and 34 classified support staff, we are one very large family.

LCHS is extremely proud of the involvement of our entire school community.   We encourage staff, students, parents, community members, and alumni to invest in Lake City High School.  At every level, from our student leadership groups, activities programs and clubs, and our athletics teams, to our parent associations including our PTSA-PAC and amazing Booster Club, all of the people involved in Lake City High School share in our incredible achievement in academics and our successes in activities and sports!

At Lake City High School we are honored to be known for the civic contributions we make.  We develop a school culture where students value and contribute to our community.  Our Youth Volunteers in Action (YVA) program is thriving and to date, our students have volunteered tens of thousands of hours in our local schools, businesses, and community organizations.  Our students have also donated more than 10,000 pounds of food each year to local food banks and partnerships.  Additionally, our staff and students have adopted more than a dozen families every year to provide Christmas gifts, trees, food and money during the holidays.

To our new students and families who are joining our Timberwolves Pack this fall, welcome to all of you! We are one family and we pride ourselves on working hard and being kind.  This school is the embodiment of the following Rudyard Kipling quote: “The strength of the pack is the wolf… and the strength of the wolf is the Pack.”

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you might have.  Welcome, once again, to the Timberwolves family!
