Students and families are invited to attend Lake City High School's 8th Grade Family Night at Lake City High School April 10th, at 5:30pm in the gym. After an information session in the gym, there will be time for students and their families to explore activities and clubs that Lake City has to offer!

For students in the CDA School District, high school counselors visited the middle schools during the week of April 7th to discuss information relating to high school and course requests for next year. Families can review this slide deck to see the information that was provided to students.

The Class of 2029 (incoming freshman) who are attending Lake City High School in the fall of 2025, should fill out and submit a copy of the Course Request sheet below. This is how students request classes for the following year. Students interested in band courses should review these handout with more information of Band Courses and Orchestra Courses to determine the best course for them and if audition is needed.

IN-DISTRICT students will receive a Course Request from their middle schools to take home and fill out with parents/guardians. High school counselors will collect and input Course Requests with students at their middle school in mid-April.

OUT OF DISTRICT students will be asked to submit a Course Request after confirmation of registration and enrollment is completed.

Registration opens for the 25-26 school year on April 28th and can be completed online on our district website.

New student appointments are not required or necessary for registration. To enroll your new student and begin the process you will need a Skyward Family Access Account, Click here to set up your new account. Once you've done that, you will be able to enroll your student online. Please follow these steps:

1. If you have a current Skyward Family Access account, go to Skyward, log in, and click the New Student Enrollment tab on the left side of the page and follow the steps.  

2. If you've had a Skyward Family Access account before and still have your log in information, log in to that account and you'll go directly to the New Student Online Enrollment form. If you don't remember your password, hit the Forgot Password link to reset it. 

3. New students need to enroll in the school located inside their attendance zone or home school. To find out which home school your student will attend, enter your home address into our School Attendance Zone Tool. 

Once all the required documents have been received and is approved in our student information system (Skyward), our counseling secretary will email you a course request sheet (if not previously received from one of our feeder middle schools) that you can fill out with your student.  As soon as you are able to complete the form, please either drop the registration sheet off at the LCHS counseling center or email it to karina.calderwood@cdaschools.org
