I am Jennifer Zaike, school counselor serving students with last names A-J at Lakes. I graduated from Gonzaga University with a Master of Arts in School Counseling in May 2011. I have been working as a school counselor since 2012, and the majority of my experience has been within a middle school setting. I love middle school because the students are at such a pivotal moment in life, and are very fun to work with. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Students are encouraged to fill out a "Counselor Time" slip located in the counseling center when they need to see us for any reason, and we also welcome requests from parents/guardians and school staff. The main topics we discuss with students are academic advising/planning, school performance, as well as personal and social issues. I am proud to be a source of support for the Lakes community.
