Advanced Music Project - Keyboard

Mrs. Sanchez Choir/Drama/Piano

Students in the Advanced Music Project Course will have the opportunity to learn about music through music theory and keyboard skills! After building these skills, students take turns to perform in front of each other either in partner groups or whole-class sessions. For their last class project, students will compose their own original piece using notation software, bridging the gap between music education and real world industry skills.

Health

Welcome to Mr. Shafer's classroom. I am is entering my 19th year of teaching in the Coeur d'Alene School District, with this being their first year teaching Health at Lakes Middle School. In addition to teaching, I  have been coaching football at Coeur d'Alene High School for the past 24 years. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, and watching sports. I am excited for the opportunity to inspire students in health education this year at Lakes!

Physical Education

Chad Booth and Nicole Symons create a challenging physical education program for our students. Each student keeps track of their physical improvements through different physical activities and keeping a log. Students learn basic skills of different sports, plus nutrition. A great place to be to burn off energy and learn new skills.
