Hello! My name is Marissa Schonhans and I have an exciting year planned for your child in 4th grade! I have been teaching 4th grade at Hayden Meadows since 2019. I was born and raised in western Montana and have been fortunate enough to live in the Coeur d’Alene area since 2011. I attended the University of Idaho in 2018, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Science. On the weekends, I enjoy being with my husband Alex, our son Grayson, daughter Makennah, and rambunctious Aussie Lucy. We love traveling, hiking, trying new foods, binge watching TV shows, and spending time with our family. Teaching upper elementary has been my dream since I decided I wanted to become a teacher. I am so happy that Hayden Meadows gave me that chance and I am very lucky to be a part of this loving and supportive family. I look forward to the many adventures and experiences we’ll get to share this school year.
