The phrase "Once a Viking, always a Viking" holds a special place in my heart. As a proud graduate of CHS, Class of 2010, I am honored to be back, contributing to the school’s rich legacy. I was born and raised in this beautiful city and feel so blessed to be able to live here. After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Idaho, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Child, Family, and Consumer Studies. After completing my degree, I took several years off to focus on raising my daughters and gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher in the Coeur d’Alene School District.

After a few years at home and working in the schools, I felt ready to pursue my Master’s degree in School Counseling at Whitworth University. My ‘why’ for choosing school counseling comes from my own journey of navigating challenges and discovering the power of having someone who truly listens and believes in you. I became a school counselor because I want to be that person for every student, a trusted guide who helps them see their worth, overcome obstacles, and realize their potential. I’m here to celebrate their successes, support them in their struggles, and walk alongside them as they grow into who they’re meant to be.

Outside of CHS, my life revolves around raising my three daughters and staying active with their various activities. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, painting, cooking, traveling, and being with family.

I am excited to be at CHS for another year, and I look forward to working with all of you!
