My name is Megan Franklin and I am excited to be at Coeur d'Alene High School after spending the first fifteen years of my career at the elementary and middle school level. I grew up in Spokane, completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Idaho, and then earned my Master's degree in school counseling at Purdue University.

When I am not working with students, you may see me playing my trumpet in the Viking pep band or hiking around Tubbs hill with my husband and two daughters.

My "Why"- Life is full of ups and downs. I am passionate about helping young people learn the skills necessary to navigate through life's highs and lows. My hope is to build strong relationships with my students so I can be a helper and a guide as they work through the awesome, exciting, and sometimes scary transition into adulthood!
