Below is a sampling of the benefits available to our employees. To receive benefits, you must be considered a full-time employee which is 30 hours a week or more. Certified employees contribute 8.08% of earnings pretax, CdA Schools contribute 13.48%
General members (classified) contribute 7.18% of earnings pretax, CdA Schools contribute 11.96%
Employees can fully vest in 60 months
Unused sick leave can accumulate and be converted to cash to pay medical insurance premiums
PERSI members can retire with full-payment at age 65 OR when your age plus your years of service equal 90.
