Below is a sampling of the benefits available to our employees. To receive benefits, you must be considered a full-time employee which is 30 hours a week or more. We have 9, 10, 11 and 12-month full-time positions so benefits can vary greatly. Speak to Lisa Loy, Assistant HR Director,  to confirm the benefits available for a specific position. Email Lisa.

Benefits-eligible staff receive:

Retirement Benefits

  • PERSI (Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho)

  • Lifetime payments

  • Certified employees contribute 8.08% of earnings pretax, CdA Schools contribute 13.48%

  • General members (classified) contribute 7.18% of earnings pretax, CdA Schools contribute 11.96%

  • Employees can fully vest in 60 months

  • Unused sick leave can accumulate and be converted to cash to pay medical insurance premiums

  • PERSI members can retire with full-payment at age 65 OR when your age plus your years of service equal 90.
