Welcome to Canfield Middle School! My name is Ginny Whiteside and I teach Advanced 6th grade Reading and Language Arts, Regular 6th grade Reading and Language Arts, and 7th grade Reading and Language Arts.
I attended the University of Idaho where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-8 as well as a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an endorsement in Reading.
After 13 years teaching at the elementary level, I moved to Canfield Middle School in 2012. I had no idea how much I would enjoy the middle school level; this age group is such a joy to work with!
I enjoy running, strength training, playing recreational volleyball, and quality time with family and friends. Teaching is my passion, and I am thankful for the role I am able to play in your child's life this year. Get ready for an amazing year ahead!
