Degrees and Certifications:
Minot State University in Minot, ND and received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a composite K-12 music degree
I have been passionate about music as long as I can remember. I have wanted to be a music teacher since I was in middle school and that's why I chose to teach this level of students. I feel like it is all coming back in a full circle. I absolutely love what I do!
I grew up in rural Montana in a town of 2,000 people. I attended Minot State University in Minot, ND and received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a composite K-12 music degree in 2015. I began my teaching career back in my hometown of Colstrip, MT, teaching band, choir, guitar, bucket drumming and world music before I moved to beautiful CDA. The first time I visited this place, I knew it was where I was meant to be.
I am a huge outdoors person! I love hiking and spending time on the lake. I am obsessed with my two wonderful dogs, which I will show pictures to anyone who asks (or doesn't).
I'm so excited to grow together with my students through the beautiful art of music. If you would like to learn more about what we do in choir class, click on my Choir Syllabus (at the bottom). If you are an incoming 6th grader, please click on the "6th grade Music Sign up form. This will take you to a Google form where you can sign up for choir! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. The quickest way to reach me is via email!
