Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho
I teach 7th grade math and 6th grade Digital Citizenship at Canfield Middle School. This is my eleventh year of teaching and my seventh year teaching at Canfield. I previously taught 5th grade at Atlas Elementary after graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho. While teaching, I worked with our Region I math team through the University of Idaho and took many additional classes to further my education. My true passion is to teach math and to help students discover that same passion. A student in this class should expect a lot of hands-on activities, group work, and real-life tasks that will push students out of their comfort zone and create powerful learning experiences!
